As I look back on the past four months of this CoVid-19 virus, I see God’s love, the joy of seeing people encounter Jesus for the first time because they long to see God in this situation’s, surprising answers to prayer and seeing the kingdom of God advancing.
On the other hand, there have also been spiritual lows – desert experiences, bereavements, disappointments, failures, temptations, oppositions and most especially health issues and exhaustion on all the frontliners that leads to death of some medical workers. If we read much news, it’s easy to get fearful. Cities filing bankruptcy, neighborhoods of homes sitting empty, and lots of people looking for work. This coVid-19 pandemic virus is spreading all over the nations. Paying attention to these articles makes us question if it can happen to us and if everything we have can get wiped out.
But I am trusting God that this ultimately suffering will end in victory. Yes i will see the victory. I know this battle belongs to our God. And so I am not surprised by this spiritual attack because i know that it follows great spiritual experiences. Through this battles and blessings .As I look back on my own life, I can see that, although these times of testing seemed very painful at the time.
On this season , trying to do everything ourself is ‘not good. ‘We’ll burn out’. We need to do this as a team. We need everyone. We need spiritual family. We need GOD on our highs and lows. Take a deep breath. Remember that our security is found in God and He will provide for us.That faithful thought, if repeated, can fight any amount of anxiety.
My prayer to God is to make our relationship with him the number one priority in our lives. Know that God looks at us with pleasure. Whatever we are going through, believe that God is preparing us and giving us an increasing love for whatever it is that he is calling us to do.
