I worked in PICU (special area) taking care of one of the cancer patients. We introduced new chemo drugs and these IV infusion fluid administration can reduce the effects of tumor if it is successful ghe effect will be 70%. Close monitoring of patient taking this medication is advised.
There's a lot of side effects of this chemo drugs that will lead to sudden death.
My patient is active, happy, playful, and cute. She has a little rashes but mangeable. She love to watch her tab (mostly big iPad) and the fone
Inside this special area are all kind of machines ( monitor machines, emergency cart etc etc) so we are ready anytime when there is septic shock and many other complications and side effects.
Looking at this patient encourage me to be strong. more stronger... this kid has cancer but look at her she is fighting for her life, she is clueless on what is happening, on why she was transferred on this room, why there's a lot of stuff connected on her body, etc. etc.... but she is strong...she is fighting...she is surviving..she will endure this hardships..she will be an overcomer....soon...very soon..
But how about us? What is our respond when we know the doctor's report that we have this problem. Cancer? Cureable or not!
Will you fight or will you give up?
Will you remain calm and steadfast or will you feel anxious and agitated?
When life hands us lemon what will we do?
Like this child she is not concern on the things around her. She will just drink milk on her schedule time of drinking. When time to change diaper she will just obey her grandma.
Life indeed is a gift. A gift from God. We can treasure it or destroy it. We can love it or hate it. Or we can just take care of it or ignore it.
Let's choose life over death. Let's love our life.
Health is wealth...
