Have we encountered a snag in our life? … a lost relationship, rejection from a school or job, financial hardship, pandemic, a death of family members, sickness, or maybe simply a lack of determination? We might be praying for God to give us the strength to get back on our feet. But do we know how powerful God is? Instead of limiting our rescue to a level we understand, have faith and believe that God has a plan beyond returning us to ground zero. Through God, we have the capability to excel way beyond our limits. Jot down a goal that we think is impossible then watch God’s plan unfold.
There are many difficult projects that we encounter each day. We may be asked to do the dishes, to wash clothes or to watch our siblings. No matter what we are asked to do, it is important for we will not give up and to complete the good task that has been given to us. If we do, we will be showing perseverance, and through our perseverance other people will see God’s power in us.
Also, it’s important to note that we can help other people to persevere as well. We are often surrounded by people who have difficult tasks of their own. When we see them, we should encourage them to persevere and complete the job. Then, when they finish, congratulate them on a job well done and remind them that they showed God to others by persevering and completing the project. When we persevere, and we help others persevere, we are living the life that God wants us to live. Remember: When we persevere and don’t give up, others will see Jesus in us.
