When God calls us to follow Him, He does not call us to a life of ease. Life on earth involves many battles, in all of which God promises us victory through Jesus Christ. There is never going to be a moment in our earthly life when everything is perfect. There are always going to be challenges, difficulties and problems to solve.
Our family, recently, is experiencing a trial as my brother-in -law is in critical condition now in ICU. I could see how tough my Ate (eldest sister) is. I love her so much so whatever pain she now has, I know needs a tight hug. I wish I could fly to our place in the Philippines to comfort her, but this kind of situation especially now that we have this pandemic virus would not allow. No flight. No way we can go home.
